The Financial Services Institute (FSI)
The setting of the Financial Services Institute (FSI) was announced in the Budget 2015/16 to provide specialized training courses that are focused on the needs of the industry. In July 2018, it officially hived off as a key department of the Economic Development Board (Formerly FSPA) with a fresh pair of wings to operate as an autonomous training institute under the aegis of the Ministry of Financial Services and Good Governance.
The FSI is open for education, training and development at a time when global forces are shaping lives and work, a time when demands of employers are getting increasingly complex, and a time when the demands of higher education are intensifying like never before.
The Vision of FSI
To achieve national and regional recognition as a Centre of Excellence for Financial Services Education and Training.
The Mission of FSI
To design, develop, market and execute highest quality training for capacity building.
