On 10 March 2025, The Ministry of Financial Services and Economic Planning recently led a high-level Consultative Workshop under the theme “Rethinking the Future of the Mauritius Financial Services Sector”, gathering over 140 industry leaders and key stakeholders.
The workshop served as a platform to redefine a strategic roadmap for the sector, with in-depth discussions focused on enhancing global competitiveness through operational efficiency, regulatory reforms, and digital transformation. Participants also explored strategies to strengthen the brand positioning of the Mauritius International Financial Centre (IFC) and to attract and retain top talents to foster innovation and sustainable growth.
This collective vision underscores Mauritius’ commitment to embracing innovation, building trust, and adapting to global shifts to ensure the long-term resilience of its financial ecosystem.
