Other Financial Business Activities

The financial business activities, other than those under the relevant acts (the Insurance Act, the Securities Act and the Private Pension Schemes Act) are listed in the Second Schedule (Part I,II,III) of the Financial Services Act 2007 (FSA). The FSA sets out the regulatory regime for the Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI's) sector. In that respect, the Second Schedule of the Act provides for Financial Business Activities, in respect of the NBFI's. These are categorised mainly into the financial services providers/activities and the specialised financial services/institutions.
