Bank One Limited commenced its business operations as from June 2002, with the acquisition of another banking business in Mauritius.

The bank currently services over 50,000 customers serviced by a workforce of 300 employees and operates 16 branches, including the main branch, throughout the country.

In December 2007, Bank One Limited was acquired by a joint venture between the local group CIEL Investment Limited and the Kenyan group Investment & Mortgages Bank Ltd. The bank will thus be under the new management as from 1st February 2008.
