The 44th ESAAMLG Task Force Meeting of the Senior Officials started on 28 August 2022 in Livingstone, Zambia. The Task Force Meeting will end on 1 September 2022 and will be followed by the 22nd ESAAMLG Council of Ministers Meeting on 2 September 2022 and the 5th Sub-Saharan Africa AML/CFT Public Private Sector Dialogue on 2 and 3 September 2022.

A delegation from Mauritius, headed by the the Co-chairperson of the Core Group for AML/CFT/CPF and comprising the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Financial Services and Good Governance and other representatives of the AML/CFT Unit of the Ministry of Financial Services and Good Governance, the Financial Services Commission, the Bank of Mauritius, the Integrity Reporting Services Agency, the Attorney General’s Office, the Mauritius Police Force and the Financial Intelligence Unit, is participating in the working group and task force meetings. The application for a re-rating of the FATF Recommendation 15 submitted by Mauritius is being considered at the Task Force meeting.
