Creating the Future of Fintech Now!
Registration is now open for the very first FinTech Ideation Competition on the island! This is an initiative organised by our very own Future FinTech Champions this year and sponsored by the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB).
The contest is open to tertiary students over the age of 18 across all the Universities in Mauritius. If you are not a student, we would be most grateful if you can help spread the word and share this invitation to someone you feel can qualify and could benefit from this!

The problem statements that the selected teams will attempt to solve in the form of tangible FinTech business ideas are defined within the following themes:
- New Times, New Banking Experience
- Wealth and Investment
- Disruption & Innovation in Banking Apps for individuals
- Gen-Z Banking
Throughout this journey, participants will learn how to analyse growth areas, innovate, ideate, and develop a FinTech driven solution to a particular problem. A mentorship week will also be held to assist and provide participants with insights on the FinTech industry.
Showcasing your idea in the competition will give you a standing chance to win cash prizes! Every challenge comes with rainbows and lights to conquer it!
- Winner: Rs 25 000
- 1st Runner-up: Rs 15 000
- 2nd Runner-up: Rs 10 000
