Mauritius Reinforces Its Position as a Financial Hub at the Africa CEO Forum 2025

The Hon. Minister, Dr. Jyoti Jeetun had the privilege to participate in the 12th edition of the Africa CEO Forum in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on 12-13 May 2025. This high profile gathering, organized by Jeune Afrique and IFC was attended by Heads of States of 10 countries including South Africa, Senegal, Rwanda and Ivory Coast, some fifty ministers and 2,800 CEOs, leaders and senior executives. It is by far the most important public private sector gathering of leaders and decision makers in Africa.

The Hon. Minister also participated in a high-level panel discussion titled “Cost of Capital Crisis: How Can African Business Turn Geopolitical Shifts to Its Advantage?” moderated by David Pilling, Africa Editor of Financial Times. And also participated in an event organized by Africa Re, focusing on the pivotal role of insurance and reinsurance in financing the continent's development.
