The Financial Services Instiute (FSI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Financial Services and Good Governance and Mauritius Finance has organised an awareness session for the youth on the Mauritius International Financial Centre and the career opportunities in the financial services sector. 

The event was held at Caudan Arts Centre this morning and was graced by the presence of Hon.Mahen Kumar Seeruttun, Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance.

The Honorable Minister highlighted that "The financial industry has so much to offer ambitious young professionals. We recently completed a Survey among employers in the sector and we came to gauge how brimming the sector is with opportunities. 

From international finance, auditing, accounting, compliance and so many other niche areas, there is an abundance of prospects. Emerging areas such as fintech and ESG are also creating attractive opportunities for career growth and advancement"
