The Swearing- In Ceremony of the new Cabinet of Ministers was held on 22 November 2024 before the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun, at the State House in Réduit and in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam and other personalities.

Dr the Honorable Jyoti Jeetun was appointed as the new Minister of Financial Services and Economic Planning.
Hon. Jeetun stated that "I am extremely honored to lead the Ministry of Financial Services and Economic Planning. In the coming weeks, I will engage with key stakeholders to explore and strengthen opportunities for collaboration to develop a common vision for the future."
